If a scuba diving certification has always been on your bucket list, or if you’re looking into continuing your diver education, then now is the best time to do so! ‘Why now?’ You might ask. We’ve got seven simple reasons as to why!
#1: Study from home
With PADI E-learning, it is possible for you to study at home. This means you can do the required knowledge development segments of your course from the comfort of your own home.

#3: One year to complete from the date of signing up

The practical / in water part of the course can also be done after 12 months if you don’t happen to be able to do it within a year, it would only add a refresher of the theory with your instructor on site.
The amount of time to finish the E-learning course depends on the course you do, the Open Water Course theory takes about 12-15 hours, but for example the theory of the Advanced Open Water course can be done in 4-5 hours. Upon completion of your E-learning, you will receive an E-Record, which you can then bring to the dive centre as proof of completion. This simply means that you will get in the water sooner; spend less time in the classroom and more time in the water learning and applying the skills & knowledge you have just learnt all about!
#5: Available in multiple languages
Depending on the course you’re choosing, the E-Learning comes in multiple languages, which you can choose at the beginning of your course. More and more languages are being added for the different courses.
#6: Desktop, laptop or mobile device
PADI E-learning does not require you to have a desktop, as the E-learning can be accessed either from desktop, laptop or mobile device, which makes it easily accessible. All you need is a good Internet connection and if preferred, it can be downloaded for offline use.
