Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver
Our PADI instructors will be with you every step of the way and show you the wonders of the underwater world of Bali. your first few days will consist of classroom sessions and pool skills to prepare your four open water dives over the last two days. The dive sites will be arround Padang Bai or Tulamben on the east coast of Bali where conditions are suitable for training dives. At the end of the course you will be a certified PADI Open Water Diver. With a license allowing you to dive with a buddy up to depth of eighteen metre.
To enroll in the PADI Open Water Diver course (or Junior Open Water Diver course), you must be ten years or older. No prior experience with scuba diving is required.
The Advanced Open Water course involves five adventure dives normally completed over two days. You will explore five new dive sites and ways to have fun scuba diving. The Advanced Open Water Course will increase your confidence and build up your scuba skills so you can become a more confident diver.
All you need is PADI Open Water Diver / Junior Open Water Dive, (or qualifying certification from another training organization).
What will you learn?
The PADI Open Water Diver program is structured to teach you how to dive safely. You will complete 5 self-study knowledge development sections from the PADI Open Water Manual. These sections will be reviewed by your PADI Instructor at our diving academy classroom and you will be shown how to plan your own dives and record these experiences in your personal dive log book.
You will complete five confined water sessions in the swimming pool, you’ll learn buoyancy skills, how to complete comfortable ascents and descents, breathing and how to stay warm underwater. After the pool session and over of the next two days you will complete four Open Water Dives. The first two dives are to maximum depth of twelve metres and the last two, maximum eighteen metres.
The PADI Open Water course is available as a three or four days training option depending on whether you completed your Open Water Referral (Theory and pool) before coming to Bali or you wish to upgrade your Scuba Diver certification to PADI Open Water Diver. The PADI Advanced Open Water course – 2 Days. During which you will have to do five dives and knowledge reviews to complete. These dives are The Deep dive and the Underwater Navigation and the three others of your choice. Choose from more than sixteen different Adventure dives. Your PADI Adventure Diving manual and instructor will guide you to improve your diving skills and prepare for new experiences and adventures.
During the Deep Adventure Dive, you learn how to plan dives to deal with the physiological effects and challenges of deeper scuba diving. The Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive refines your compass navigation skills and helps you better navigate using kick-cycles, visual landmarks and time.
