Gili Biaha is located a little further out by traditional fishing boat from Padang Bai and is another little island exposed to tricky currents. Due to these conditions this dive site is only for experienced divers (min. Advanced Open Water Certification and 50 logged dives). The reef is rich with soft corals, gorgonians, and black coral bushes. When the conditions are right the northern side of the rock can be full of a large variety of schooling fish as the deep upwellings bring up all the nutrients to the reef. The southern side of the rock creates a protected bay area form the currents where at 12 metres a small cave hides, white tip reef sharks, lobster and sometimes sting rays. When the ocean swell allows you can enter the blowhole and experience the sound and power of the water as the waves pound against the rock.
